Well, Helston residents, especially those near Torleven Road in Porthleven, might be interested to know that National Grid is planning some upgrades to the electricity lines. This work is set to improve the power supply in the area, with new poles and underground cables included in the proposal.
National Grid propose to upgrade an existing two wire 11kV line to a three wire 11kV overhead line along with additional support poles / equipment and underground cables to facilitate an upgrade to three phase in the Torleven Road area
